Somewhere between the first pumpkin latte of September and the milkshake topped with an actual miniature pumpkin pie, pumpkin stopped being an ingredient and became a fall itinerary. We have decided to lean into it.
This year we are putting the East Shore pumpkin obsession on a map, with stops in Hershey, Hummelstown, Harrisburg, and Palmyra. There are ordinary coffee-and-muffin options, desserts that could qualify as small construction projects, and a couple of extras for families already heading into Hersheypark.
Open our interactive 2026 East Shore Pumpkin Trail map. Choose a couple of stops rather than treating this as a competitive eating event. The map is a collection of destinations, not a prescribed driving route. Seasonal menus, prices, and hours can change, so check before making a special trip.
Map note: The interactive map opens in Google Maps. Some locations share an address in Hershey’s Chocolatetown; the two Hersheypark-only treats are described separately below.
Hershey: The serious pumpkin-dessert territory
Hershey’s Chocolate World
101 Chocolate World Way, Hershey
Chocolate World’s fall lineup includes a HERSHEY’S NUGGETS Pumpkin Spice Latte milkshake. This is a stop families can make without Hersheypark admission, and the free Chocolate Tour is nearby if everyone has time for a little more chocolate education.
Chocolate World sweets and eats
The Sweeterie
Hershey’s Chocolatetown, 100 Hersheypark Drive, Hershey
The 2026 fall offerings include a pumpkin cheesecake cookie, pumpkin chocolate chip cupcake, and pumpkin pie fudge. It is outside the park gates, so no Hersheypark ticket is needed. A good place to bring home a few different treats, assuming they make it home.
Hersheypark 2026 seasonal food guide
Milton’s Ice Cream Parlor
Hershey’s Chocolatetown, 100 Hersheypark Drive, Hershey
The 2026 seasonal menu lists iced pumpkin horchata topped with pumpkin cold foam, priced at $6.99 when researched. No park admission required.
The Chocolatier
Hershey’s Chocolatetown, 100 Hersheypark Drive, Hershey
The current restaurant menu lists a Pumpkin Pie Milkshake with whipped cream, fall sprinkles, a miniature pumpkin pie, and a milk-chocolate pumpkin. At that point, the milkshake has acquired its own dessert. The restaurant is outside the park gates; allow time for a sit-down stop.
The Hershey Pantry
801 East Chocolate Avenue, Hershey
Its ordering menu lists a Pumpkin Patch Latte, hot or iced, at $6.95 when researched. The seasonal baked-oatmeal flight includes pumpkin spice alongside other fall flavors. This is the stop for anyone who prefers to begin a pumpkin expedition with breakfast.
Freshido
151 West Chocolate Avenue, Hershey
A pumpkin-spice boba has appeared on the shop’s rotating monthly-special menu, with customizable boba and jelly choices. Because the special rotates, confirm that it is being served before making a trip specifically for pumpkin boba.

Hummelstown: The bakery detour
The Farmhouse at Englewood
1215 West End Avenue, Hummelstown
A pumpkin cream muffin was listed at $4 on the ordering menu, and pumpkin-pie coffee flavoring offers another way to participate. Pumpkin roll has also appeared on the menu but was marked unavailable during research, so do not count on it without checking.
Palmyra: A pumpkin breakfast worth considering
Funck’s Restaurant
664 West Main Street, Palmyra
Its current specials menu lists pumpkin roll French toast and pumpkin pancakes at $11 each, plus pumpkin baked oatmeal starting at $8 when researched. This is a genuine breakfast destination rather than a dessert counter pretending to be one.
Harrisburg: Pumpkin without the park crowds
The Table
3950 Tecport Drive, Harrisburg
The online menu lists a pumpkin muffin at $3.75, pumpkin chai, and pumpkin cold foam. It is an easy choice for a smaller fall outing when a theme-park-scale dessert is not on the agenda.
Simply Turkey & More
4455 North Front Street, Harrisburg
Pumpkin pie by the slice, whole pumpkin pies, and pumpkin spice cake appear in the online ordering options. The listings included $4.75 slices and $15.95 whole pies when researched. Because some options are part of catering or holiday menus, check ordering and pickup arrangements rather than assuming every item is in the case for walk-in purchase.
Stauffers of Kissel Hill, Linglestown
5350 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg
A pumpkin-butter tasting is scheduled for October 17–18, 2026, featuring Finch + Fennel Pumpkin Butter along with other seasonal samples. This is a date-specific event, not a year-round menu item; verify the event before heading over.
Bonus stops inside Hersheypark
These two treats are for families who already have Hersheypark Halloween plans. Park admission is required, so they are not casual walk-in stops on the public trail.
Simply Chocolate: Pumpkin Roll King Size Shake
Inside Hersheypark, Founder’s Way
The 2026 Halloween menu features a pumpkin-flavored King Size Shake topped with a slice of house-made pumpkin roll. Yes, a whole slice.
Spring Creek Smokehouse: Pumpkin Pecan Bread Pudding
Inside Hersheypark, Pioneer Frontier
The 2026 menu includes pumpkin pecan bread pudding, a warmer and somewhat less structurally ambitious option than the giant shake.
Hersheypark also advertises a Halloween Tasting Pass with five selections from a list of eligible seasonal items. It is not a pumpkin-only pass, and not every dessert above necessarily qualifies. Check the current eligible-item list and admission costs before buying.
Make the trail your own
A manageable Hershey outing might begin with breakfast at The Hershey Pantry and end with one Chocolatetown dessert. Coming from Harrisburg? Start with a muffin or coffee at The Table, then head toward Hummelstown and Hershey. Palmyra is an appealing detour for families who would rather start with pumpkin pancakes than finish with a giant milkshake.
